In November 2022 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) published its annual statistics on work-related ill health and workplace injuries. Their report showed that the estimated number of workers in Great Britain suffering a work-related illness is 1.8 million and that stress, depression, and anxiety make up around half of these cases.
The report also estimated that 17 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, depression, or anxiety in 2021/22. This is over half of all working days lost due to work-related ill health.
These are shocking statistics that highlight the urgent need for greater health & wellness support for employees.
Below are a series of wellness workshops and presentations that are delivered as 45 minute sessions live via Zoom. All of these individual sessions are powerful but the benefits can be amplified further by combining the sessions to make a 3 or 6 session wellbeing program.
The Mind, Body & Soul Approach to Managing Stress & Burnout
Stress is one of the major contributors to burnout and myriad other health symptoms. Whilst there are major stress factors that are easily identifiable there may be other less obvious sources of stress adding fuel to the fire and impacting on energy, focus, mood and motivation.
